Description

  • Braided and impregnated stuffing box packing
  • Square cross-section
  • Made of aramid and PTFE-graphite compound yarns
  • Stability of the packing due to DIAPLEX® braiding
  • Low frictional heat
  • Gentle on shafts
  • Resistant to abrasive media particles
  • Graphite-filled PTFE yarn on the running surface has very good sliding properties and protects the plunger or shaft surface
  • Braided aramid yarn at packing edges protects against gap extrusion and ensures long service life
  • Sealing of rotating shafts or translating rods
  • Sealing effect due to axial compression by means of stuffing box gland
  • In high-pressure plunger pumps long operating cycles have been achieved with constant sealing effect through the use of end rings in a pre-compressed spring packing set

  • Use in difficult sealing applications, e.g. with large gap bridging and abrasive media
