The Simmerring® Selector merely suggests a product selection based on the information the customer has provided and the data entered for the usage parameters described in the catalog. The resulting product selection is not a recommendation and is not a substitute for a specific consultation for the intended individual application. Freudenberg shall not assume any liability regarding the suitability of the resulting product selection for the customer’s specific intended application. In this context, we note the need to consider that sealing performance is not solely dependent on the product itself but also on various additional factors in the tribological system (including temperature curves, pressure gradients, shaft processing, tolerances, interactions with media / additives). These and other factors influence the sealing capacity of the product, meaning the operator must independently test and approve the seal used in an application. We specifically recommend consulting a sealing specialist for critical applications.
