Please select the compression direction of the sealing element.
With the radial direction of compression, the sealing element is pressed perpendicular to the axis, e.g. in a piston seal.
With the axial direction of compression, the sealing element is pressed in the axial direction, e.g. in the case of a cover or flange seal.

Please select whether the medium to be sealed is liquid (hydraulic) or gaseous (pneumatic).
The type of medium is taken into account when designing the O-ring.
